‘‘This is the best training I have joined in a long time’’
Are you struggling to get buy in for your health, mental health and wellbeing strategy or programme? Or to make the change or impact you hoped to?
Are you passionate about health, mental health and wellbeing but worried that you aren’t really sure what you are doing writing or running a programme?
Are you passionate about health, mental health and wellbeing in the workplace and want to combine that passion with practical skills, expertise and strategic knowledge?
Are you isolated working on health and wellbeing within your organisation and want to share your journey or experience and learn from others working in the same field?
Here is a course that combines practical skills, expertise and the strategic knowledge you need
What Is ‘Do Workplace Health better?’
This is a 6-week practical, skills led course on all aspects of creating and implementing an organisational health, mental health, or wellbeing strategy and programme.
We cover the A-Z of everything you need to know about workplace health, mental health, and wellbeing.
This is designed to be:
Practical and skills based
No-nonsense and no waffle - I bring my examples from my 20 years’ experience
‘How to’ – this isn’t academic or theory. This is for you to put into practice now
Comprehensive – covering all aspects of a strategy and programme
Workplace health, mental health and wellbeing is a complex and multi-dimensional beast. Doing it right means creating a strategy or programme that involves numerous parts of an organisation and managing different and varied stakeholders.
We will look at all aspects of what you need to do and why. Modules are listed below.
The course is designed to be a cohort-based value experience. We learn from each other, build relationships, and create a supportive community and network. For this reason, you must book for the whole course.
Why have I created it?
I have noticed in my work that many of the people I work with have come from one background, or a ‘passion’ for health, mental health and wellbeing. Many have got there by pivoting from other roles and are 'learning on the job'. There is a big skills gap. Especially with strategic thinking.
I work often with people from HR, ER, Diversity & Inclusion, Health & Safety, Learning & Development and Reward and Benefits… All are experts in their fields but don't often have training or understanding in all the different multi-dimensional aspects of heath, mental health, and wellbeing strategies required to do it properly.
Many wellbeing strategies and programmes aren’t strategic but are collections of well-intentioned activities that won’t make change as they are outside of core organisational processes.
They are often siloed and don’t involve all the many parts of the organisation needed to make change.
There are some fab academic courses out there now but I haven't found a really practical, 'how to' course that will tackle the issues I see on a day to day basis.
I created this course to give a thorough and strategic understanding of all aspects of health, mental health and wellbeing… based on 20 years of my strategic work within many different organisations.
Have you created or been given a role working in health, mental health and wellbeing and are now learning on the job?
Do you work in another aspect of wellbeing or are you keen to get into the wellbeing industry and want to

“I highly recommend this course to anyone working in an organisation which wants to develop and/or improve their wellbeing strategy and learn how employers can support the health and mental health of their employees. The six sessions just flew by! I felt I was only just getting started as the course was drawing to a close. Amy is very knowledgable and engaging; she draws on her own experience with different organisations to show you what can be achieved if you have an overall strategy and vision of what you are working towards. You will come away with some concrete steps to take to help your own organisation move forward..”

TESTIMONIAL
Prior to starting this course I had followed Amy for some time on LinkedIn, appreciating her informative and inclusive posts. This course was a tremendous opportunity to learn from a highly experienced individual with a wealth of knowledge in this area. It was refreshing to learn how to approach this topic from a strategic point of view and to learn so many practical, implementable ideas from week one. I have no formal training in this area but the course was inclusive and flexible, with a wide range of businesses being represented. If you're working in the Health, Mental Health and Wellbeing space this course is a must.
Director of Operations
Amy did a fantastic job combining her strategic expertise with hands-on tools and real-life examples. The course gave me the confidence to say yes to a big strategic mental health project and provided me with the framework needed to dive right in.
Nora Dietrich - Psychotherapist and Mental Health Expert
It has been a great experience to take part in the training course and learn from Amy as well as other participants.
Amy is not only a fantastic expert and enthusiast but also a warm and engaging person. Her thoroughly prepared modules filled with wealth of practical knowledge and implementable ideas, and straight to the point approach, helped to maximise the time we've had.
Amy has shared her knowledge with ease and even complex subjects such as data measurement and ROI became easier to comprehend and manage. Most importantly, the course demonstrated that having the right understanding and skills to be able to join all of the dots of this complex and multidimensional field is crucial to affecting a positive change and achieving desired long-term results.
This is the best training I have joined in a long time.
I am grateful for the opportunity. Thanks to Amy's course I was able to organise and expand on my existing knowledge and skills within the area to more strategically and effectively help my clients in the future.
I highly recommend it to anyone working in the health, mental health and wellbeing space who wants to take their expertise, knowledge, and skills to the next level.
